This mold for ironing is provided with a punch to be inserted inside a molded part and a die having a push-in hole into which the molded part along with the punch is to be pushed. The inside peripheral surface of the push-in hole is provided so as to extend non-parallel to the outer peripheral surface of the punch and also so as to have clearance with the outer peripheral surface based on the nonuniform sheet thickness distribution of the pre-ironed molded part along the push-in direction such that there is a fixed amount of ironing for the molded part along the push-in direction.
