Novelty: a joint for the mounting of metal rectangular tubes is disclosed. Constitution: the dismountable joint (3) bears suitable recesses receiving nuts (5) for future screwing; it is placed along with the nuts at the end of a horizontal tubular element of rectangular cross-section, which horizontal tubular element constitute the horizontal traverse (1) of the framework and is stabilized by the bracket (2) and the screws (6). The final assembly is achieved by screwing of the dismountable joint (3) on the shaped support (4) via the screw (7). Thanks to its design, the invented dismountable joint (3) encloses, externally, the rectangular tube of the above shaped support (4) which is strongly tightened by the screw (7) so that a very strong connection is obtained, liable to be easily and promptly released if required. Embodiment: the invention finds application to the construction of metal frameworks practicable for office furniture or similar industrial products. Advantages: the invention ensures durability and strength of the final assembled framework, easy dismounting, storage and transport of the dismounted materials, aesthetical and ergonomic connection especially at the visible side of the framework, and combinational use in tubular constructions of varying cross-section and length for the composition of more complicated constructions. |
