The present invention relates to a light emitting rope, the rope is configured with a plurality of outer layer strands twisted on an outer circumference of a core strand, the rope comprising: an electroluminescent (EL) wire for replacing at least one outer layer strand among the plurality of outer layer strands and twisted on an outer circumference of the core strand and capable of light-emitting when being supplied with electricity; and a power supply source for supplying electricity to the EL wire wherein it is possible to provide light having a constant intensity all the time through the EL wire and in addition, capable of providing light during a time period as long as light-emitting is required and therefore, there is an effect to ensure a generality in use. Further, by forming a negative or a positive pattern on a surface of a protective tube, it induces scattered reflection of the light emitted by the EL wire and therefore, there is an effect to improve a discriminating power. |
