The invention discloses a method and device for generating auto-response messages in instant messaging. The device comprises an address acquisition module for acquiring a target web page address, a web page material recognition module for loading the content of a target web page and recognizing materials in the target web page and marking the types of the materials in the target web page, an editor module for receiving a selection instrument of a user for the materials in the target web page, adding corresponding material type items to an auto-response message editor according to the type marks of the materials selected by the user, and adding the content of the materials selected by the user to the corresponding material type items added to the auto-response message editor, and a message generation module for generating the auto-response messages according to the item content in the auto-response message editor. By means of the method and device, manual operation can be simplified, operation efficiency is improved, and labor cost is reduced. |
