<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sag lock nut of a fastening member, which retains the strength of a peripheral edge of a taper cylindrical body properly and which reduces the external dimension properly.SOLUTION: In a sag lock nut of a fastening member for a bolt, a nut or a washer to be used for fastening a member to be fastened by making use of a screw fastening action, or a sag lock nut having a taper cylindrical part 12 formed into such cylindrical shape as is gradually radially increased toward a seating face 13 formed into such a flat band ring shape concentric with a shaft as to pressure-contact with the member to be fastened. The taper angle of the taper cylindrical part 12 is made acute, and the taper cylindrical part 12 is formed on its outer circumference with a standing face 12c rising upright from the member to be fastened, so that the external diameter of the seating face 13 of the circular flat band ring-shape may be within the range, in which a bearing may be established to press effectively the fastened body by that seating face 13.</p> |
