PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a solid electrolyte that makes it possible to improve the ion conductivity of one including a ceramic-grain sintered body.SOLUTION: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method of producing a solid electrolyte. The method comprises the step of applying an alternating electric field in a direction which intersects at least one surface of a solid electrolyte precursor comprising a ceramic-grain sintered body while heating the solid electrolyte precursor, thereby orienting a crystal plane of the ceramic-grain sintered body having an ion conducting path.
