Disclosed are an anti-theft method for a mobile terminal and the mobile terminal thereof. A pressure sensing module is mounted on a housing of the mobile terminal. The method comprises: initiating an antitheft mode according to a user command (110), and monitoring in real-time the detection value of the pressure sensing module (120); judging whether a preset warning condition is met on the basis of the change of the detection value of the pressure sensing module (130), and giving a warning (140) if the preset warning condition is met (140). Users can be reminded at the scene of theft without additional modules.
