PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film capacitor having low dielectric loss and high heat resistance.SOLUTION: A film capacitor 1 comprises: dielectric resin films 3 and 4 including a resin composition. The resin composition is composed of a hardened material resulting from the reaction of at least two kinds of organic materials including first and second organic materials, which includes a first atomic group including at least one functional group selected from a methylene group, an aromatic ring and an ether group and having a relatively small molar polarizability, and a second atomic group including at least one functional group selected from a hydroxyl group, an amino group and a carbonyl group and having a relatively large molar polarizability, and satisfies the following condition: a value given by (Total of absorption band intensities of the first atomic group)/(Total of absorption band intensities of the second atomic group) is equal to or larger than 1.0, provided that peak intensities detected in a particular wave number region are adopted as the absorption band intensities of the respective functional groups. |
