Disclosed are memory control methods for reducing latency in accordance with a nonvolatile memory elimination operation. The memory control method comprises the following steps: receiving an elimination command, and performing the elimination operation in accordance with the elimination command; monitoring a next command to be performed in a nonvolatile memory, and determining a proceeding state of the elimination operation; and in accordance with a determination result, selectively performing, stopping, or canceling the elimination operation, wherein a host can perform another command without waiting for an elimination operation completion for a long time. |
