Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for improving the flatness of a pulse signal. The apparatus for improving the flatness of a pulse signal includes: a sorting part which classifies a pulse signal detected as being in connection with a power transmission system into a reference pulse signal and a comparison pulse signal; and a controller which controls the level of the comparison signal to match the comparison pulse signal to the reference pulse signal within a selected range.
