a first film partially hermetically sealed with a second film in a sealed portion, the first film and second film defining a cavity between the first film and the second film, the cavity configured to receive an imaging plate; an adhesive disposed on the first film or the second film along an unsealed portion of the first film and the second film; a tab portion protruding from a remainder of the envelope; and a recess defined by the first film and the second film within the tab portion and within the sealed portion.
