A power control method and power control apparatus for a large load terminal, and a computer program and carrier. The method comprises: presetting an initial value of the working current of the large load, wherein the initial value of the working current is less than or equal to the maximum current allowed by the large load terminal system; when there is a need to start the large load and to adopt an internal power source to supply power, supplying power to the large load according to the initial value of the working current, and detecting the voltage of the internal power source; and adjusting the working current of the large load in real-time according to the detected voltage of the internal power.
