The invention relates to an electric push-button switch comprising a push button (1) having a substantially rectangular actuating surface (21), which can be displaced with respect to a housing (3) by way of a pressure actuation, thus triggering an electrical switching element (5). Below the push button, a substantially box-shaped rocker (2) is arranged, which is mounted on an inner longitudinal wall of the housing by means of at least one pivot bearing (8). By actuating the push button, the rocker can be pivoted, supporting the push button almost along the entire longitudinal extension of the push button. The invention further relates to an operating element having an electric push-button switch as described above. |
