The present invention relates to an optical system for an HMD. The HMD comprises a digital system which controls and outputs every kind of electronic signals such as screen processing and input/output signal processing and an optical system which sends a virtual screen outputted to a display panel by being processed in the digital system to the eyes of a wearer, and thus enables the wearer to feel augmented realty by sensing real screen in the outside together to the eyes of the wearer by making the optical system transparent. The existing technology has a difficulty in realizing a 3D screen due to inaccurate focus and inconvenience of moving the eyes of the wearer because of the fixed focus and a volume above a fixed value resulted from the features thereof. In order to solve the above objective, the optical system module of the present invention is divided into a display panel, a display part comprising the display panel and a convergent lens, an adjustment part comprising an adjustment prism and and a divergent lens and a combining part comprising a combiner and an imaging lens and a guide. Thus, the optical system module of the present invention can perform focusing freely according to the small volume, high degree of design freedom and the environment of the wearer, and can realize a clear and accurate 3D screen. |
