A refillable and rechargeable e-cigarette personal vaporiser in which the PV has a tip 32 that includes an e-liquid filling aperture 27 that is designed to engage an e-liquid transfer mechanism, one or more vapour outlets distributed around the e-liquid filling aperture; and electrical charging contacts 42 spaced apart from the tip. The electrical charging contacts may be located at the opposite end of the PV compared with the tip; such electrical contacts may be incorporated into a contact assembly that includes electrical contacts to transfer energy to a battery within the personal vaporiser. The e-cigarette can be adapted to slide into a portable storage and carry case that can both recharge and refill the PV, wherein the personal vaporiser is not disassembled in normal use for refilling or recharging. The personal vaporiser may include a battery 59, refillable e-liquid container 48 and an atomiser 52 which are all contained within a casing 57, and are not removable during normal use. The e-liquid filling aperture may be positioned centrally along the main axis of the personal vaporiser. The personal vaporiser can be refilled using a fluid transfer system in which the PV moves relative to a pump. |
