<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more reliably perform ejection testing of each nozzle during printing.SOLUTION: A liquid ejection device comprises: a plurality of nozzles for discharging liquid; and a common ejection testing section provided commonly for the plurality of nozzles and for performing ejection testing of every nozzle during printing. When the liquid is discharged from the plurality of nozzles on the basis of print data, a nozzle to be tested is selected from the plurality of nozzles, and the nozzle to be tested is tested at the common testing section. The nozzle for discharging the liquid is specified on the basis of the print data and a nozzle with little number of times of discharge is selected as the nozzle to be tested from among not-yet-tested nozzles on the basis of the print data.</p> |
