<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method and the like of an electric wire conductor capable of preventing occurrence of defective welding such as necking and wire disalignment by a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: An insulating cover 5 in a predetermined range of an end part of an electric wire 1 is removed and an electric wire conductor 3 is exposed. A tip part vicinity of the electric wire conductor 3 is irradiated with laser 7 which is a high energy density beam. At that time, a laser optical axis 11 of the laser 7 is allowed to be at a predetermined position from the end part of the electric wire conductor 3. When the laser 7 is radiated, the end part of the electric wire conductor 3 is melted. When a part of the electric wire conductor 3 melts, a melted part becomes spherical because of the surface tension of the molten metal, and a tip position of the electric wire conductor recedes in the direction opposite to the tip side. When a spherical part 9 is formed, the end part position of the electric wire conductor 3 comes out of the laser optical axis 11 of the laser 7. In short, under this condition, the spherical part 9 is coagulated without heating at the electric wire conductor 3.
