According to a disclosed embodiment, provided is an apparatus for synthesizing gas which comprises: a probe having a first electrode and a second electrode configured to apply electric energy for plasma blasting; and a reactor which accommodates reactant gas reacting in a reversible exothermic reaction and also accommodates a blasting medium, and in which synthesis gas is produced from the reactant gas through the reversible exothermic reaction. The probe is arranged to enable at least a part of the first electrode and at least a part of the second electrode to touch the blasting medium. In the reactor, a plasma stream is generated from the blasting medium when the electric energy is applied through the first and second electrodes, and the synthetic gas is produced from the reactant gas in accordance with the generation of the plasma stream.
