<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agitating apparatus and method for efficiently performing agitation, so that molten glass with high homogeneity can be supplied. <P>SOLUTION: The agitating apparatus for molten glass comprises: an agitation tank; an introduction pipe which is connected to the agitation tank and introduces molten glass into the agitation tank; an agitating blade which is disposed in the agitation tank and agitates molten glass; a reflux pipe which is connected to the agitation tank at one end and to the introduction pipe at the other end and refluxes at least part of the molten glass in the agitation tank into the introduction pipe; and a lead-out pipe which is connected to the agitation tank and leads out the agitated molten glass from the agitation tank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
