Provided is an apparatus for measuring spindle torque. The apparatus for measuring spindle torque of hot rolling facility comprises: a spindle which transfers a rotational driving power of a motor to a rolling roll; and a support member which supports the spindle. The apparatus for measuring spindle torque comprises: a surface acoustic wave sensor where predetermined resonance frequency generates a converted signal which is sifted depending on torsional force by spindle rotation; a plurality of reader antennas for receiving the converted signal; and a sensor reader which calculates spindle torque based on the converted signal, wherein the reader antennas can prevent rolling facility accidents and loss of lives due to properly taking cautions by a worker through early checking spindle trouble by being radially attached along circumference of metal bearing inside the spindle support member. |
