PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent successive images input during computerization from being used as a suitable image if a difference between them is larger than a threshold value.SOLUTION: An image input device comprises: an image input section that inputs an image for each predetermined area; a numeric value calculating section that calculates a numeric value indicating an image change input by an image input section each time the image input section inputs an image; and a comparison section that, each time the numeric value calculating section calculates a numeric value, compares a numeric value calculated by the numeric value calculating section for a first image input by the image input section, with a numeric value calculated by the numeric value calculating section for the second image input subsequent to the first image by the image input section, and that determines whether a difference between the first and second images is smaller than a threshold value or not. If the comparison section determines that the difference is smaller than the threshold value, at least the first or second image is output as a suitable image. |
