<p>The device (10) has a transmitter unit (11) which comprises a rotatably driven drum (12) with recesses for receiving and transverse axially supplying of the rod-shaped articles (14) from a store (15) into the area of an exit zone (16). The drum and the exit zone are connected with each other by an accumulating chamber (18) for transverse axially supplying of the articles from the drum to exit zone. A supply unit is arranged in a main chamber (21) which is formed as pressure chamber (20). The supply unit is formed from the drum and the accumulating chamber. An independent claim is also included for a method for transferring rod-shaped articles of the tobacco processing industry from a store into a supplying line.</p> |
