<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ozone generator capable of generating ozone gas efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: This ozone generator has a pair of discharge electrode members (1) arranged with a space (6). The discharge electrode members (1) contain a ceramic sintered body (2) having a crystal phase containing a transition metal element. In the ceramic sintered body (2), a surface resistivity of a surface (2a) in contact with the space (6) is 10<SP POS="POST">5</SP>-10<SP POS="POST">11</SP>Ω, and a valence of the transition metal element is larger inside the ceramic sintered body (2) than on the surface (2a) in contact with the space (6). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
