This utility model describes a set of components that are interchangeable, extendable horizontally and vertically, and can be assembled on site which comprises a unique and distinct set of steel frames, beams and braces to construct a modular storage racking system. The primary component is an upright steel frame for storage racks configured to be assembled and extended horizontally and/or vertically, the upright frame comprises a pair of channel-type front and rear columns connected by upper and lower horizontal braces and a diagonal brace. A plurality of elongated beam members is secured to the front and rear columns of said upright frame thereby connecting every upright frames. Each front and rear columns has longitudinally spaced-elongated trapezoidal slots, which allow connection to a load beam member at various heights via a connector plate that is hooked and bolted to each other. This utility model also consists of a light gauge shelving system that is constructed using posts with bulb-like slots, complementing the heavy duty upright steel frame. With additional components described in this utility model, the above components can be configured in various combinations such as a drive-in rack assembly. |
