<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly precisely reproduce multi-colors for a long term without compelling a user to perform classification work of test print paper and without deteriorating reproductivity of a color that cannot be measured. <P>SOLUTION: A colorimetry adaptive region adapted to measure the color is searched from an image (S5), and a plurality of colorimetry adaptive regions in a multi-color toner image formed on the basis of image information are color-measured (S6). A tone reproduction curve TRC is corrected so that a difference becomes smaller in response to a result for obtaining colors on a plurality of colorimetry results (S13), and presence or absence of deviation on color distribution in the plurality of colorimetry results is determined prior to correction of the curve (S10). When the deviation exists, tone pattern images consisting of a plurality of test toner images different in toner adhesion amounts are formed for four colors. The result of detection of the toner adhesion amounts of the test toner images is converted into color information, and a conversion result is added to a data group of actual colorimetry results as the colorimetry result (S11). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
