<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a data error while rewriting data without performing redundant processing on the data. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing system comprises: first check value calculation means for calculating a first check value for verifying consistency of data in a monitoring target area of an information storage device; change information creation means for creating information indicating change of the first check value by rewriting data when the data in the monitoring target data is to be rewritten while calculating the first check value; second check value calculation means for repeatedly calculating a second check value from the first check value and the information indicating the change of the first check value that is created by the change information creation means, when calculation of the first check value is completed; and data error determination means for determining a data error by comparing the second check value acquired by the second check value calculation means and the second check value previously acquired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
