A method for applying a coating to a surface of wind turbine blade

A system and method for the application of a coating material to a surface of a wind turbine blade is described, where reflective elements are incorporated into the coating process. The reflective elements allow for accurate measurement of both wet and dry film thicknesses of the coating material, to provide for improved quality control of the coating process.
