The present invention relates to a system for managing a drain pipe and a method thereof. The system for managing the drain pipe according to the present invention includes: a drain pipe monitoring device which is installed on an upper part of the drain pipe, and measures the depth of water in a manhole and then transmits the measured depth of water; and a drain management server which calculates a flow rate of the drain pipe using a correlation between the flow rate and the depth of water from the information of the depth of water transmitted. According to the present invention, a pipeline facility can be maintained and managed easily. |
