The present invention relates to a rail having a windbreak structure and a sliding window having the same and, more specifically, relates to a rail and a sliding window having the same capable of increasing airtightness and insulation efficiency by preventing heat exchange between an indoor and an outdoor as a windbreak part is formed on a rail formed on a window frame of a sliding window to reduce air flow flowing over the rail. According to the present invention, the rail comprises: a rail part on which rollers mounted on an underside of a window are placed to be guided; a rail support part formed on a window frame to support the rail part; and a windbreak part having one or more windbreak protrusions protruding from both side surfaces of the rail support part to prevent the air flow and windbreak grooves formed between the closed windbreak protrusions such that the introduced air flow can be returned to form a vortex or an air shield. |
