The present invention relates to an apparatus for separating an edge scrap of a touch panel which adsorbs a touch panel and an edge scrap of a base material, having passed a press process, at the same time to stably transfer the base material and can separate only the edge scrap by chucking only the edge scrap from the transferred base material. The apparatus for separating an edge scrap of a touch panel includes: a transfer unit which transfers the base material cut by a cutting press machine; a first cylinder arrange to be adjacent to the transfer unit; an elevated plate which is joined with a rod of the first cylinder and is elevated; a second cylinder which is joined with the elevated plate to face the direction perpendicular to the direction of elevation of the elevated plate; and a chucking unit which is joined with the second cylinder and separates the edge scrap from the touch panel while being moved up and down by operation of the first cylinder after one end portion of the edge scrap of the base material, transferred by the transfer unit, is chucked by operation of the second cylinder. |
