The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for photographing images wherein setting is automatically changed for re-photographing by considering photographed images. The method for photographing images of the present invention includes the steps of: photographing an image by using the apparatus for photographing images; determining similarity between the photographed image and a preview image provided by the apparatus for photographing images; and changing at least one of the settings of the apparatus for photographing images based on the determined similarity.
