Provided are a polycarbonate resin composition having improved fluidity and color tone and exceptional molding stability at high temperatures, and a molded article thereof. (1) A polycarbonate resin composition containing 0.005-0.5 parts by mass of a phosphorus-based antioxidant (B) per 100 parts by mass of a polycarbonate resin (A) that comprises 10-100 mass% of a polycarbonate resin (A-1) having a light transmittance of 85.0% or higher at 380 nm in a 3-mm-thick molded article molded at 350ºC using, as raw materials, a chain terminator that contains 1 mass% or less of a resorcinol derivative and/or 2.5 mass% or less of a phenol derivative, the total content of the resorcinol derivative and the phenol derivative being 2.5 mass% or less, as well as 3-pentadecylphenol having a purity of 97.5 mass% or higher, and 90-0 mass% of a polycarbonate resin (A-2) other than (A-1); and (2) a molded article obtained by molding this polycarbonate resin composition.
