<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer, etc. capable of receiving print data from a communication terminal and printing the print data regardless of whether or not the communication terminal is compatible with communication standards of direct communication.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a mounting part 11 having a proximity radio communication part 111 and a mounting sensor 112; a display part 13; a data communication part 14 for performing first communication with a communication terminal by a first commutation method; a control part 12 for executing control to (i) start the first communication and transmits the information indicating that the print data is received, to the communication terminal through the proximity radio communication part 111 when the proximity radio communication part 111 detects the communication terminal by proximity radio communication, and (ii) start the first communication and cause the display part 13 to display an image indicating that the print data is received when the proximity radio communication part 111 does not detect the communication terminal by proximity radio communication, and the mounting sensor 112 detects that the communication terminal is mounted; and a print part 15 for printing the print data received from the communication terminal by the first communication.</p> |
