A complex machine (100) is provided with: a main controller (400), which executes functions in normal mode, and which stops in power-saving mode; a sub-controller (401) that executes functions in the power-saving mode; a storage unit (402) which stores before-change and after-change set information in predetermined memory (403), in the cases of changing set information of predetermined setting items of the functions to be executed in the power-saving mode; and a notification unit (404) that makes notification to a user by displaying the thus stored before-change and after-change set information when the mode is shifted from the power-saving mode to the normal mode.
