A friction clutch (1, 21) for fixedly clamping a clutch disc (8) between a pressure plate (3) and a thrust plate (7) for a motor vehicle drivetrain, having a clutch cover (5) on which a lever (4) is pivotably mounted for the purposes of displacing a pressure plate for fixedly clamping the clutch, and having a readjustment device (16) which, by travel control, detects wear in the clamping region, and having an adjustment device (6) which is arranged between the pressure plate and the lever and which serves for compensating the wear, wherein a stop (20) is provided which is fixed to the clutch cover and which is provided for interacting with the adjustment device (6) or with the lever (4) or with a second adjustment device (32), such that a movement of the pressure plate away from the clutch disc is limited. |
