The present invention relates to a method for managing a communications relay device system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for managing a relay device system using an automatic ID setting technique so as to reduce management costs spent in managing a structure of a relay system and producing a network when initial facility construction and equipment of the communications relay device system installed in a diapasonal area of a mobile communications service are relocated. Accordingly, when the relay device system of the present invention is relocated when being initially installed and operated, an automatic ID setting method is used, so management costs and work time caused by ID shock can be saved. The same can be applied to a building indoor in-building relay device such as a building, subway, and airport and an outdoor communications relay device system. Through the automatic ID setting method having a conventional manual ID setting method removed therefrom, a setting problem of a worker can be solved. The method for managing the communications relay device system of the present invention to achieve the purposes comprises the following steps: inputting serial information and installation position information of each remote by a worker; generating an ID for each remote by using the inputted serial information by the donor when an automatic ID setting command is transmitted to the donor after the input is completed; receiving a response of the serial information of the remote by transmitting a message containing own reception ID information to each remote by using a broadcast method; and comparing, by the donor, the serial number inputted by the worker with the serial information of the remote, and reporting error to the worker. |
