PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a shape of an electrode terminal of a secondary battery.SOLUTION: Shape correction operation is repeated a plurality of times, where the shape correction operation includes: first operation of clipping an electrode terminal with a pair of clipping members 108, 108 by closing the tip side of a chuck member 101 by a pair of rollers moving toward the tip side of the chuck member 101 by a roller holding member 37 moving forward to a magazine; second operation of gradually shifting a contact between the electrode terminal and a clipping member 108 to the tip side of the electrode terminal by making the roller holding member 37 move forward to the magazine side; and third operation of releasing the electrode terminal by opening the tip side of the chuck member 101 by making the roller holding member 37 move backward.
