The invention relates to a flow chamber for a flow cytometer, said flow chamber having a flow direction (D) and a Wheatstone bridge (1) with four resistors, each of which is designed as an elongated magneto-resistive element (2), wherein at least two of the magneto-resistive elements (2) are substantially parallel to each other. At least one of the magneto-resistive elements (2), said element being designed as a reference resistor (6), is arranged along the flow direction (D), and at least one of the magneto-resistive elements (2), said element being designed as a measuring resistor (7), is arranged transversely to the flow direction (D) in order to allow a more precise analysis of measurement results.
