PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing analysis device negating the need of instructions as to timing of a start and a stop of swing motion by a user and being capable of performing extraction of swing data with a relatively small calculation load, and further to provide a swing analysis program and a recording medium recorded with the swing analysis program.SOLUTION: A swing analysis device 1 includes at least: a motion sensor 10; a data acquisition section 22; a motion detection section 24; and a swing data determination section 26. The data acquisition section 22 acquires detection data of the motion sensor 10. The motion detection section 24 performs detection of motion of a swing by using the detection data acquired and extracts data where the motion of the swing is detected as swing candidate data. The swing data determination section 26 selects true swing data from the swing candidate data on the basis of determination conditions associated with the swing.
