<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage caused by mal-operation when a measurement body part of a shape measurement machine is moved quickly by hand operation.SOLUTION: A shape measurement machine 100 comprises: a measurement body part 11 moving along a first member 310; a friction contact mechanism 400 attached to the measurement body part 11; an operation part 460 transiting between a first state and second state by user's operation; an operation part state detection part 25 for detecting a state of the operation part 460; and a brake device 27 for suppressing movement of the measurement body part 11 to the first member 310. The measurement body part 11 comprises detection tools 15, 22 of objects to be measured for detecting an object to be measured W. The friction contact mechanism 400 has friction contact parts 451 to 456 which contact the first member 310 by friction contact when the operation part 460 is in the first state, and separate from the first member 310 when the operation part 460 is in the second state. The brake device 27 operates based on output of the operation state detection part 25 and outputs of the detection tools 15, 22 of objects to be measured.</p> |
