The present invention provides a manufacturing method of a flexible device capable of stably separating the flexible device from a hard support, and reusing the hard support. The manufacturing method of the flexible device of the present invention comprises: a process of forming a polyimide resin layer on a hard support by applying a liquid composition including a polyimide or a polyimide precursor, on the hard support and, curing the hard support; a process of forming a functional layer on the polyimide resin layer; a process of forming a cut line on the polyimide resin layer, so that a frame body comprised of a boundary edge portion of a circumferential surface of the polyimide resin layer can be partitioned; a process of separating the polyimide resin layer of an inner area surrounded with the cut line, together with the functional layer from the hard support, and obtaining a flexible device having the functional layer of the polyimide resin layer; a process of separating the frame body of the polyimide resin layer on the hard support with a mechanical method. Furthermore, in the manufacturing method of the flexible device of the present invention, the hard support, wherein the frame body of the polyimide resin layer is removed, can be reused for manufacturing the flexible device. |
