PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of detecting the stop of the supply of normal use power and switching over to emergency power supply without generating the interference of the power supply, without the exchange of an existing power distribution board.SOLUTION: A power switching device includes: sensors 2, 3 for detecting a handle position of a master breaker H of a power distribution board SE which distributes power to normal use power; line open and close means 5 capable of switching an emergency power line to either a connection or a disconnection state; a changeover switch 42 for switching the line open and close means to the connection state; and a control unit 4 for judging whether or not to switch to the emergency power, according to the handle position of the master breaker detected by the sensor, and for controlling the changeover switch to activate the line open and close means. |
