PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release agent for the tire inner surface which has good temporal dispersion stability and becomes sufficiently transparent when added to the inner surface of a green tire and vulcanized.SOLUTION: A release agent for the tire inner surface comprises an inorganic ingredient consisting of powder, a silicone ingredient, a surfactant, a polyhydric alcohol and water. The boiling point of the polyhydric alcohol is preferably 200°C or higher. Preferably, the total weight ratio of the polyhydric alcohol and water is 35-90 wt.% relative to the weight of the release agent for the tire inner surface, and the amount of the polyhydric alcohol is 10-60 wt.% of the total amount of the polyhydric alcohol and water. A tire is obtained by adhering the release agent for the tire inner surface to the inner surface of a green tire and vulcanizing. |
