Provided are a networking method and a networking device. The method is applied to the networking device, and the networking device is connected with at least one service switch and at least one streaming media server respectively. The method includes that a configuration module in the networking device configures networking configuration information of the at least one streaming media server, a control module in the networking device acquires the networking configuration information, and the control module sets a switching module through a setting interface of the switching module on the basis of the networking configuration information. According to the disclosure, the technical problem of complexity in a networking mode in the existing technology can be solved, and unified network management and configuration can be realized.

configuring, by a configuration module in the networking device, networking configuration information of the at least one streaming media server; acquiring, by a control module in the networking device, the networking configuration information; and setting, by the control module, a switching module through a setting interface of the switching module on the basis of the networking configuration information.
