A rear-view verification device comprises a display device and a camera device. The display device includes a display, a first control unit, a first transmission unit, and a first reception unit. The first control unit causes images to be displayed on the display on the basis of an image signal from the camera device. The camera device includes a second reception unit, a second transmission unit, a second control unit and an imaging element. The first control unit transmits a synchronization signal to the second control unit by way of the first transmission unit and the second reception unit. The second control unit transmits an image signal to the first control unit by way of the second transmission unit and the first reception unit. The first control unit transmits the image signal to the display.
