PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector that can suppress displacement of a projection position by permitting deformation of constitutional members in response to a change in temperature.SOLUTION: A projector 1 includes an illumination part 10 that has an optical system including a light source device 810, an image forming part 20 that has an optical system including a light modulation device (liquid crystal panel 851), a projection part 30 that has an optical system including a projection lens 861 and is connected to the image forming part 20 and connected to the illumination part 10, and a base frame 50 that fixes one of the illumination part 10 and the projection part 30 and movably holds the other in a direction parallel to a direction of projection. When the projection part 30 is fixed to the base frame 50, the projection part 30 is fixed at second fixation parts (projection fixation parts 32A and 32B), and the illumination part 10 is movably held at first fixation parts (illumination fixation parts 12A to 12G). |
