<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for maintaining mechanical characteristics of a used composite material regardless of a deformation direction or place with little anisotropy of mechanical characteristics, in a method of carrying out compression molding of the composite material cut from random reinforcement type fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin with a mold. <P>SOLUTION: In the method where a composite material cut from a random reinforcement type fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin sheet of which test piece cut in an arbitrary x-axis direction and y-axis direction perpendicular thereto respectively has a ratio of flexural modulus of 4/5-5/4 is arranged at least one layer to a recess of a mold and carried out compression molding, if taking x-axis and y-axis for the longest shaft, and a shaft which perpendicularly intersects with this middle point, and taking a and b for the length of x-axis and y-axis of the recess of this mold respectively in a projection chart to a level surface of a recessed part of a mold, the length of the x-axis direction m and the length of y-axis direction n satisfy 0.8≤m/a<1.0 and 0.8≤n/b<1.0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
