PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel-structure caretaker assisting device having a simple and compact structure, being easily usable, and, in care work, capable of giving effective assisting force to a caretaker.SOLUTION: A caretaker assisting apparatus 10 for assisting care work of a caretaker 52 for a care-receiver 54, includes: a carriage part 12 configured to move on a floor surface; a trunk assist part 42 provided on the carriage part 12 for coming into contact with a trunk part front face of the caretaker 52 and supporting the trunk part front face; and an actuator 32 capable of lifting/lowering the trunk assist part 42 with respect to the carriage part 12. |
