Method and device for controlling a multi-colour display of an image from a medical object

The method involves illuminating a medical object with light including an illumination spectrum using an endoscopic sensor. An image data is detected for a color channel using an image sensor. Image information are generated with respect to another color channel based on the detected image data, where the latter color channel is different from the former color channel. An image output device is controlled for providing multi-color output of the image based on the detected image data and the generated image information. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product with a set of instructions for performing a method for controlling a multi-color display of an image of a medical object to support a medical personal (2) a device for controlling a multi-color display of an image of a medical object to support a medical personal.
