PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture reproducer and a picture reproduction system capable of providing a background picture with taste and showing a user message information, advertisement information and the like having a sense of unity with the background picture.SOLUTION: The picture reproducer includes: a control unit 40 for displaying a picture including a singer's picture along with the output of a karaoke music; and a transmission/receiving unit 45 for receiving character string data transmitted from a remote handling device 45. A text display area capable of displaying the character string data is set in an area other than a prescribed area of the picture, and the control unit 40 displays a character string corresponding to the character string data received by the transmission/receiving unit 45 in the text display area associated with the character string data. |
